Florida

We just got back from a trip to Florida with Scott, Catherine and their kids. It was our kids first time on the plane so we weren't sure how it would go, but it turned out well.

We went to the beach a lot, we had beautiful weather. Even Addison enjoyed it.

Zoo

The kids and I all went to Cyn's house for a visit 2 weeks ago. It was beautiful out, so we decided to go to the falardeau zoo. Here are a few pictures.

Addison toughed it almost the whole time, but at the end she was just too tired and fell asleep.

Justin was much more interested in the animals than Chloe and Jayden. He really enjoyed feeding them. My kids were afraid.

It has been a while, I know I have been a slacker all summer, but I haven't been around much. We went to the airshow in Bagotville, to Lac Mégantic for 2 weeks, to Auntie cyn's a few times, camping, Ontario for a week, Expo. There was just no time, but now we are starting the routine again. I won't post pictures of all these events, but here are a few recent pictures. I will try to keep them up from now on.


Addison is already 6 months old, and she is quite a smiler, she eats well and has 2 naps a day, she likes her little routine.

Random

Justin slept over the other night, and when we got home Kevin was mowing the grass, so he couldn't get away with not giving Justin a ride. Chloe was very brave and went on even with all the noise.

Addison loves to play now. She is a little small to stand in the toy but she loves it and when she is there she gets all of Chloe and Jayden's attention, which makes her happy.

Very tired brats.

Airshow

We all went to Auntie Cyn's house last weekend for the Airshow. This is the only picture I had you can look at Cyn's blog for more. My kids didn't like the noise. Some planes were really loud, Chloe shed a few tears but I was impressed with her, it could have been a lot worst.

Swimming

We finally had mice enough weather to swim. The pools are cold, but we all went in anyway. The kids have been enjoying it. This was taken at our place, they love relaxing in the boat, and they don't want me to hold on to it. I put this picture up because it is so typical of my kids. Jayden in the water, and Chloe watching from the sidelines.

Jayden was cold after his swim, so he put Papou's shirt on.

Eating

Addison ate cereal for the first time today. Yes, we are already there, no more newborns. She loved it, there was not much spitting out. I stopped giving it to her because I didn't want to stuff her, but she would have kept eating.

She also loved the high chair the 2 last pictures was before she ate. She liked the high chair so much because if we don't recline it, she can sit straight up. That is the only position she likes now. even when she is lying back on us she forces to sit up straight (quite the opposite from Chloe and Jayden)

Ottawa

Kevin had a conference in Ottawa this weekend, so the kids and I decided to go along. We stayed at the Casino hotel in Lac-Leamy, and we had a nice time.
Addison went in the pool for the first time. Here she was relaxing after her swim. She didn't cry, maybe because the water was at 86 degrees.

It rained all day Friday, but we decided to wear our raincoats and go for a walk anyway. There was a nice path going along the lake. We must have walked for at least 1 hour, and the kids loved it.

We spent a lot of time at the pool because of the rain. I was surprised that Chloe and Jayden wanted to go in, they don't usually enjoy pools. The hot water must have helped. Addison had fun napping and playing with the dangly things on her car seat while Chloe and Jayeden played in the pool.

There was a nice toddler pool that they could walk in. They spent most of the time in that pool. although they enjoyed the big one also. They didn't have to wear life Jackets, but they chose too sometimes just to play.

Lots of Smiles

Addison is full of smiles. Anytime we talk to her she just can't help but smile. She also smiles a lot when she is playing with hanging objects. She doesn't make a lot of sounds though.

Playgroup

Jayden started playgroup a few weeks ago. He was very proud. Chloe is happy that he goes with her.
