Little Boy Toys
Jayden really started playing with toys a lot more in the last few weeks. He can concentrate better and learn things. He also really enjoys his bedtime story and sit through all of it. His favourite one is the farm one, and he can do all the animal sounds (and he also makes them randomly throughout the day). These pictures are to show that he does not only play with dolls, he is also starting to enjoy little boy toys.
Cabane à Sucre
Yannick's dad was nice enough last weekend to have us over at his sugar camp. It was beautiful out and we had lots of fun.
Jayden, on the other hand, couldn't get enough of it.
Here are Chloe and Justin on the snowmobile. Justin loves it. Chloe was acting pretty brave on this picture but she refused to stay on it when someone started it, unlike her cousin, who just sat there until someone took him.
Here is a picture of the 3 of them with uncle Yannick. (it is the best I could do)
Chloe refused to try any of the sugar, and was kind of shy and grumpy for a while. She got over it after a while, and enjoyed it.
For more pictures, you can go on Justin's blog.

Crafts
I have been doing lots of crafts with the kids from daycare lately. They really enjoy it.
Here is Jayden. He doesn't participate in craft time much because he prefers eating the materials. However, he does enjoy sitting with the others and playing with paper. I give him a pencil and every once in a while he decides to make a picture instead of eating the pencil.
Today they made valentine's day bandannas. They turned out really well, and they were fairly easy to make even for the younger ones.

A Walk in the Field
We've had such beautiful weather in January, that we couldn't resist going outside. Here are a few pictures of us walking in the field behind Glen's house. We didn't make it to the river because the kids didn't want to be in the sled's anymore, they wanted to walk.
Chloe was happy to have conquered the top of the mountain. She worked very hard.

Chloe insisted on walking a lot of the way. It made the walk slightly longer.
