More Updates
Sorry, the past 6 months were very busy, but now that I am off work again, I will start updating the blog again. We have a new member in the family, a little boy - Jayden Jack, born on October 21, 2008. So it is not just Chloe's blog anymore, I will be changing the colors and the title over the next few days.

Chloe's 1st Birthday
I know, I know, I haven't posted pictures in a while. I have been really busy with work, so I didn't have time. I thought Chloe's birthday was a good enough reason to make the time, so here are a few pictures.

She had all her friends over, Laurence, Madison, Edouard, Edward, Elliot, Wilson. Chloe had a nice day, but she is a little independent. She would much rather play on her own.
Here she is standing on the table, her new favourite thing to do. She is ablr to walk all around it.

Here she was opening some of her presents. It's a good thing Daddy and Wilson were tere to help because Chloe wasn't to interested. It would have taken a while all by herself. She got a lot of nice presents. Thank-you everyone.
During cake time Chloe was more confused than anything. She looked at all of us singing as if we were crazy. She didn't even want to touch the cake. Good thing Wilson was there again to help Chloe blow the candles out. She enjoyed eating the cake though. She had 2 big pieces all too herself.
Here are a few pictures of Chloe and her friends.

Finally, here is a picture of Chloe trying the new toy that Edward bought her. This was later, after everyone had left.

Frank & Amé's Cottage
Lot's of people went to Frank and Amé's cottage this weekend for a little outdoor fun. The guys went ski-dooing, snowboarding and sliding down the big hill. It was a beautiful day. Melissa and I had the ''BRILLIANT'' idea to go snowshooing and bring Chloe and Madison up the hill in their sleighs. The guys said ''10 minutes and you will be up the hill it is not long'' Yeah right! Note to self ''never listen to the people who go up the hill on ski-doo'' It was a very steep hill, there is a picture of people at the bottom of it below, but we had to use a different path by foot through the woods with no path, so we kept passing over branches. It took us more than 10 Mins, and I got my work out for the year out of it. Chloe was a trooper though she slept the whole way up. The sleigh must of flipped over 5 times and she never even opened an eye. Thank-god for Mélissa, she had to pull Chloe for the last stretch, because I wasn't going to make it.

The pictures are of us going down. I didn't learn my lesson going up, I decided that going down would be a lot easier. I was wrong. It took just as long, I kept tripping and falling and Chloe kept sliding out of her sleigh (face first in the snow once). We made it down finally, and needless to say we all slept really well that night. It was a lot of work but we had a nice day outside with nice weather and good friends.
Thanks to Amélie and Frank.

10 months and Daycare
Just wanted to keep you guys posted, Chloe was 10 months old yesterday. This morning she went to daycare for the first time. I dropped her off at 8:00 and went to get her at 12:00. I thought she was going to cry but apparently she had lots of fun. She was starting to be whiney when I went to get her, I took her temperature when we got home and she had a fever. She also has a runny nose. I guess she caught whatever I have after all. So I gave her tylenol and now she is down for her third nap of the day. I feel better leaving her at daycare now that I saw how good a reaction she had to it. She is going back on wednesday afternoon. She will be having a nap there. I will let you know how it goes.

Trip to Auntie Cyn's
This week we went for a nice visit at Auntie Cyn's. Chloe was a good girl, except that she started crawling last week. We had to run after her all over cyn's non baby proof house.
Here Chloe was all ready to go visit Auntie Cyn at the School where she works. Chloe had lots of fun during story time. They were reading a Robert munsh book, one of her favourites. She got a little bit Chlaustraphobic when all the 20 grade one students crowded around her. Half an hour was plenty of time in the classroom.
Chloe and Yogi were having a small nap, to let us eat our supper in peace, without having to watch them.
Chloe had just finished eating and was playing in her high chair.
Chloe enjoyed running after Yogi a lot. We had to watch her because Yogi is not used to babies. Here she was trying to get to him, she finds it very funny, because she knows she is not supposed to.

We had a very nice week, Thank-you Auntie Cyn, and Uncle Yannick

Holding her Bottle

Chloe is now able to hold her own bottle when she drinks. For her to be able, we have to put her milk or juice in a bottle that uses the bags instead of her regular bottles. She is not able to tilt her regular bottles up enough, with the bags you don't have to tilt them, so she is able all on her own. She stopped drinking long enough for me to take the picture because everytime she sees a camera, she laughs. She couldn't do both at the same time.

9 Months
Chloe is 9 months old already today. Time goes by so quickly, it seems like I just had her, but another 3 months and she will be 1 year old.
Swimming Lessons

Chloe started to take swimming lessons. Today we were all ready to go but we couldn't because we were snowed in . The snow in the driveway was almost up to the mailbox, but it is really really nice out. Maybe we will go for a walk in her sled instead. I am sure Chloe wasn't dissappointed. She doesn't enjoy her lessons that much because she finds the water too cold. She is also scared of people wearing bathing caps, but we have too, even Chloe, who doesn't even have any hair. She is getting good though. She puts her head under water, and last week she slid into the pool and actually laughed instead of crying. I will post pictures of her in the pool later.

Toy Basket
Playpen

Kevin and I were working in the living room and dinning room renovations, and we didn't know what to do with Chloe. We decided to set up her playpen in the kitchen and since all she wants to do these days is play, we put all of her toys in the playpen. She was really happy, she just played and didn't say a thing. We decided to leave the playpen set up in the kitchen for a while since we won't have a living room or dinning room for a while. We have to make sure she doesn't crawl into those rooms.

New years Brunch

Despite her short night of sleep on the 31st, Chloe was in a very good mood when we went to brunch with Marcel and Pierrette's family. She ate lot's of yogurt. When we left around 1:00 Chloe was really exhausted. So we put her to bed and she slept all afternoon and almost all evening, then slept through the night as usual. We are both stuck with a very big cold, so we will be staying at home for a few days until we get better.
