Christmas Decorations

Chloe and Jayden hand painted some Christmas decorations yesterday. They aren't wearing their shirts because it was very messy. Here are a few pictures of them concentrating very hard. We have some grand-parents that will have to act very happy on Christmas Eve and Morning.

Christmas Concert

Chloe had her first Christmas concert yesterday with playgroup. The first of many to come. They sang 2 songs and then their was coffee, juice and snacks. I was surprised. Chloe did very well even though she saw me beforehand. She participated in most of the movements, but she didn't sing that much.

A picture of the whole group.

The Reindeer hokey pokey.

The last 2 pictures were taken at the beginning, she wasn't too sure. She came around though.
I just noticed that all the girls are dressed up in dresses and skirt except for Chloe. I definetly have to buy Chloe more girly stuff.

Christmas Preparations

We slowly made the Christmas trees today. It went fairly well, the kids weren't too bad. I let them help a little.

This is the basement one. It is not as nice, but the kids have already been touching it all day. I didn't put our nice ornaments on it.

This is the one upstairs. I put the nicer and more breakable ornaments on top and let the kids help with the bottom half.
The kids each wanted to pose with the Santa hat. They kept taking turns wearing the hat and yelling HOHOHO!

Playing Outside

We have a lot of snow now so it is much more pleasant to play outside.

Chloe posing for the camera.

Winter hats

Our kids have fur hats. Chloe was hesitant to wear hers at first but when she saw Jayden wearing his she wanted to wear it also.

Auntie's House

We went to Auntie's house last weekend for the night with Nana and Papou. The kids had lots of fun.

Here is the queen sitting on her throne while watching tv.

It seemed to be the place to sit. Here is what they looked like when we came home from shopping.

Halloween

The kids got all dressed up for Halloween yesterday. Jayden really didn't want to, but then he finally gave in. We went to a couple of houses (people they knew) but that is all. Chloe didn't want to go to people she didn't know, then we went to the firehall. The firemen were giving out treats, lights and hot chocolate, and there was a haunted house. We were out for about an hour, and it was long enough. It was very hard to get a good picture, they wouldn't cooperate that well.

Chloe's Halloween Concert

Chloe had a small concert (3 songs) at playgroup last Tuesday. It was for the elderly but Jayden, Jessi and I decided to go watch. This is how she stood the whole time. She would have probably been ok, but she saw Jayden and I before the concert, so of course, she wanted to stay with us. At least she wasn't crying during the concert, she cried before and after.

Pumpkin Carving

On Saturday Kevin carved the pumpkinds with the kids. They didn't participate much. They sat quietly at the table, but they refused to put their little hands in it to help empty it.

This year decided to carve Woody from Toy Story. It is hard to get a good picture, but it looks really nice when you it is all lit up.

Pumpkin Picking

A Couple of weeks ago a friend of mine was here from Montreal, and we took Chloe and Jayden Pumpkin Picking. It was very cold outside but we got our pumpkins anyway.

There is a giant maze in a corn field. The kids really enjoyed playing with the corn ( the bananna's as Jayden likes to call them).

Thanksgiving Supper

On Saturday after Jayden's birthday we ate a turkey for Thanksgiving. On Sunday we had supper at Doreen's house.
The kid's table
The other table. Cyn was missing, like every other year, because she was taking the picture.

Leaves

On Sunday it was nice out but cold. Chloe wanted to rake the leaves at Nanna and Papou's house, then we went for a walk.
Chloe and Justin had fun walking on the fallen leaves during their walk.

Everyone had to hold hands.

Jayden's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Jayden's 2nd birthday this weekend. I know we were 2 weeks early, but everyone was here for the long weekend. Here are some pictures. Thank-you to everyone who came, and thanks for the nice gifts.

I guess the party wasn't all that fun because Auntie Cyn was coloring in the giant coloring book and Uncle Yannick was drawing on the Glow doodle.

Justin enjoying the gift he gave Jayden.

They all enjoyed the ball tent that Auntie Melinda bought.

Jayden refused to wear the Canadiens hat that Neil bought him, this is the best picture we could get (hiding the logo)

He didn't want to wear the hat, yet he didn't mind wearing the 3D glasses that go with the glow doodle.

Blowing out the candles of his cars themed cake.

Justin really does enjoy Cheetos, needless to say he ate no cake after stuffing his face all afternoon with these.

Chloe enjoyed opening gifts with Jayden (Justin was too busy eating the Cheetos)

The theme was Cars (the movie). Jayden's favourite movie. He was really excited when he first saw the basement.
