Swimming

We went for our first swim of the year this weekend. Despite the cold water, the kids really enjoyed it.




Jayden found the water a little cold, he whimpered when we put him in but then he enjoyed it. Chloe was freezing, she was shivering all over, but she didn't want to come out.


We put Jayden in the small pool first to get him used to the cold water.

Here they were just playing when we got out of the pool. We had to keep Chloe distracted because all she wanted was to be in the water

This was at Nana's house on Saturday. Jayden didn't swim on that day because it was a little too cold.

The last picture is just to tell you that Jayden turned 8 months old on Sunday.

A Picnic on a Nice Day

It was such a beautiful day out on thursday that Amélie, Catherine and I decided to have a picnic lunch outside at Catherine's house with our kids. The kids had a lot of fun, we ended staying for supper also.

The kids were so dirty after playing in the dirt pile and the sand box that we gave them all a bath. It was very hard to get them to look all at the same time.

Tractor

As much as Chloe used to like the tractor, now she is petrified of it (and all things that make loud noises). Jayden enjoyed it though.

Auntie's Place

Jayden really gets around even though he doesn't crawl yet.

Chloe loves Yogi's cage, she is always in it.

Air Show

This weekend we went to Auntie Cyn's and Uncle Yannick's house for the air show in Bagotville. It was beautiful out, so we had a really nice day.

When we arrived we had to eat, so we had a picnic. Here are the daddy's feeding their boys

Jayden was just relaxing after he finished eating.

I the afternoon, Chloe was getting very grumpy. We switched her to Justin's stroller to try to give her a nap, She was half asleep, but wouldn't stop crying. When she saw this slide she perked right up. Auntie Cyn went down with her, and she was in a very good mood after that.

When we put Justin and Jayden in the same stroller, everybody thinks that they are twins.

Dirt Pile

Chloe and Edward had lots of fun on thursday when Amélie, Edward, and Mariko came to visit. They played in the dirt pile that we have, and they were filthy. They enjoyed themselves so much, that we didn't have the heart to stop them.

I just had to post this picture because Jayden just looked so cute. We were visiting one of my mom's friend, Mrs.Goh, and she took this picture.

Everywhere

I was having a shower, and Jayden was awake, so I brought him in the bathroom with me. He was right beside the bath, and when I got out, he had made it all the way to the laundry basket at the other end of the bathroom (pretty impressive since he doesn't crawl, he rolled to it). He has to touch everything, the clothes was sitting on top of the basket, and the whole thing fell on him. He managed to make a little hole for his had, and he kept playing. He didn't seem to mind at all.

Project Manager

Chloe has a little of her daddy in her. We were installing the pool on Saturday and sunday, and Chloe was never sitting very far away. It seemed like she was overlokking the project to make sure everything was being done alright.

Ice Cream

We were all having a bowl of ice cream after supper, so of cours we had to give some to Jayden. I had mine all covered in fudge, he ate half of my bowl, and he couldn't get enough.

Painter

Chloe woke up from her nap while we were painting on saturday, and of course she had to help. She was able to do it without getting dirty.
