Chloe and Madison

Madison came and spent the day here on Sunday. We tried to get a nice picture of her and Chloe together but it didn't happen. Every time Madison would cry, Chloe would start, so this is the result. Chloe doesn't understand other babies, and she doesn't like them. Whenever they are around she spends most of her time crying.

Play Play Play!

Aunt Sharon and Uncle Robert bought Chloe this toy when she was born. She is starting to enjoy it a lot. She is actually supposed to be sitting on a bench that attaches to the toy, but she keeps falling off, so we took it off for now, and just sit her in her Bumbo. She understands that when she presses the yello triangle music plays, so she presses it all the time and laughs.

Bath Time!

Chloe is now able to sit up on her own during bath time. I bought a mat to put at the bottom of the tub, and now she doesn't fall anymore. She likes having baths even more than she used to because she can now play at the same time instead of just flailing her arms and legs.

Sitting and Leaning

When Chloe sits down, often she stops playing for a while and she looks around. She puts her hands on her knees and leans on them while she takes her break.

Snowsuit

When we left for Jamaica, it was still fairly warm out and there was no snow, so I left her only with her fall suit on. Well when we got back, she was wearing this snowsuit because there was a snowstorm while we were away. Nanna and Pappie had bought it as an xmas present, but they gave it to Chloe early. They didn't really have a choice. She doesn't mind it too much because it's easy to fit her into it. The only thing that she really doesn't like is the hat.

Hat from Jamaica

When we were in Jamaica we bought Chloe a hat that was supposed to be for this summer. It barely fits now so it definately will not fit this summer. Too bad because it looks really cute on her. We thought it was huge when we were there. I guess we forgot that Chloe has a huge head.

Pictures Coming Up

I know, I know we haven't been posting pictures of Chloe. Kevin and I just ot back from Jamaica last night, so we didn't have pictures to post. Chloe had a nice time with both of her grand-parents and auntie Cyn. When we got back, she barely looked at us, so she didn't really miss us. She had a great week, and was spoiled by everyone. I should have pictures to post by tomorrow.

Just Because She Was Cute

I just put this picture up because Chloe was too cute. Here she is smiling even though she has a cold. She's had trouble sleeping for the last 2 nights because she was coughing and had a stuffed up nose. She slept in her playpen in our room because it was a lot easier than always getting up. Today during her nap, it was a lot better. She should be sleeping in her room again tonight.

Gift From Daddy

Daddy brought Chloe back a nice tank top from his trip to Aruba. Right now it is too big, so it looks like a t-shirt, but it is supposed to be a tank top with nice little frills on the end of the shoulder straps. It should fit perfectly by the time summer comes along again. It is a size 3.

6 Months

Chloe is already 6 months old today. Time goes by so fast. We were getting ready to go meet daddy after work. It's cold out, so Chloe had to be dressed warmly.

Halloween!!!

Chloe had her first Halloween today. We didn't go trick or treating because she is still too young. We went to supper at Nanna and Poppa's house and then we walked over to the fire hall with daddy because he was working. Chloe was asleep when we got there but then she woke up and smiled for everyone. On the first 2 pictures I just wanted to show her nice Pajama. On the bottom we were just getting back from the fire hall. She is holding the rattle that Nanna and Poppa bought her for halloween, since she couldn't eat the candy. When we got home, Chloe was exhausted from all the fresh air, and could barely finish her milk before going to bed.

Quick Nap

I was organizing some stuff today, so I had Chloe sitting up with pillows all around her. When I looked over at her, Chloe had fallen back and was sleeping. This picture was taken when she woke up. I didn't take it while she was sleeping because I didn't want to wake her.

Tummy Time

Chloe doesn't mind tummy time as much as she used to. She laughs at the beginning but after a while she just puts her head down, and starts to whine until we turn her over.

Sitting up

Chloe is getting really good at sitting up on her own, and she really enjoys it. However, we still put pillows around her because she still falls.

Dress

Chloe doesn't mind dresses anymore. She didn't quite understand the nylons though, but she was still smiling. She is wearing the nice dress that Amélie and Frank gave her.

First Fall

Chloe had her first real fall today and she is not even walking yet. She can sit up on her own now, and that is all she does when we set her down somewhere. We usually set her down in her bouncer seat when we prepare her milk. Today I set her down in it without tying her and went into the kitchen. I haeard a loud boom and when I came into the living room, Chloe was flat on her face. She sat up, but went forward too much, and fell off the chair. You can see on the side of her eye where she hit the floor. She was a good girl, and didn't cry much. As soon as I picked her up she started laughing again.

Chloe's first Thanksgiving Supper

Chloe Celebrated her first Thanksgiving holiday on sunday night at our place. As you can see I really made the traditional turkey supper!!! It doesn't matter for this year since Chloe didn't even eat with us anyway. I guess she found the supper quite boring because she fell asleep in the middle of it all ( no one was paying attention to her while we were eating. That's no fun). But then she woke up again to have a last bottle before bed. When she went to bed, we finished off the evening with game of pictionary. The men are very sore losers!!

After the Baptism

After the Baptisim, we all went to th restaurant. Chloe was very well behaved. She ate, then she fell asleep in her car seat while we ate.

After supper, Chloe woke up and opened gifts ( we opened them for her). She got some really nice gifts from everyone. Then she was entertained by her aunties, laughed a bit and went back to sleep
When it was finally time to leave around 10:00 P.M. Chloe was wide awake. But it didn't take long for her to go back to sleep when we got home. She was EXHAUSTED.

Baptism

Chloe finally got baptised this weekend. She was very good during the service, she laughed and listened to the priest during the whole time. Here are pictures of Chloe with her Godparents, Cyn and Yannick , us, and her Auntie Melinda.

What a Mess!

Here is a small video of Chloe eating cereal at Nanna's and Pappie's after going to Mont St-Anne. She makes such a mess and she moves constantly.

Mont Sainte-Anne

Since it was so nice out today Kevin, Chloe, Nanna, Pappie and I decided to go for a nice walk at Mont Sainte-Anne. We had a really nice time and saw great views. I don't know what posessed Kevin and I but we decided to go down the 358 stairs to the bottom of the Jean Larose falls. Nanna and Pappie chickened out. Going down was easy, but coming back up was quite the work out. I carried Chloe down but to come back up I had to get Kevin to do it.

Here are pictures of the great views we saw today, and of the wonderful stairs that we had to go up.

Cereal

Chloe really didn't like cereal so She has been eating fruit and vegetables for the past 3 weeks. Today I decided to try cereal again, and she really liked it. Good thing I had put her new pink plastic bib on because she made quite the mess. She also threw the cereal bowl out of my hand.

First Piggy Back Ride

Daddy was giving Chloe her fist Piggy back ride. We weren't sure if she was ging to enjoy it, but it turned out that she laughed the whole time.
